Here I am!

Sorry for the disappearing act. If you think its hard for humans to move homes... imagine how long it takes a 23 lb dog! We don't have thumbs!

Anyway, I'm quite enjoying my new digs. More space. More trees to sniff and grass to look for treats in... And lots more spots to lounge in the sun...

Our daily walks have been great! Who knew this concept of neighborhood sidewalks could be so much more fun? Instead of one side of nature-y goodness to explore, i've now got two!

There's also this new phenomenon that i'm not sure i do like though. After my special business... i suddenly feel and hear this strange sound on my back that i can't shake off. Not until i get near a trash can that is. Anyone else experience this? Maybe it's aliens.

It's not even my birthday...

My humans came back from breakfast with this strange floating orb...

And the next thing i know... it's following me around.

Oh yes... it gets worse...

I somehow shook the strange orb off and it floated away... thank goodness for vaulted ceilings.

My Private Dog Park

Lounging on my human's couch or stretching out on a cool Bean Bag on a warm day can get boring sometimes... so yesterday I took my human's to get some sun. We found a nice patch of corporate lawn in a low trafficked area of Glendale by the studio that gave you great movies like Shrek and Tropic Thunder.... And I had so much fun playing fetch, that i worked up a frothy lather with my drool!

The Smell of Summer

Hello?! Is anyone out there?

Just checking.

It's been a little warm down in Southern California, so as you can tell from my blog, i've just been laying low and staying cool.

We had a visitor stay with us last weekend who was apparently only 2 years older than me... (I'm a youthful 5) He was a nice little boy, but he didn't really know how to play fetch yet, and for some reason he liked to say "Yah!" as he shook my leash for our daily walks. But it was nice to have extra company!

Alright, well I better get back to my busy schedule of napping, eating, and dropping toys at people's feet so that they'll play fetch with me.

Cruisin'

Hello Blog Readers!
As you can tell i've been a little lazy with my updates. Sorry!!

Can't say a lot has topped my Snow Adventure...

We did drive around in a rental Prius a little while back, and I have to say - I could get used to these things they call "Hatchbacks". It's like I get my own little room in the back of the car - but this room has an amazing glass ceiling so i can make faces at the cars behind us or count how many tree branches and street lights we pass under. I keep hearing my humans talking about "Save Gas" and "Miles Per Gallon" stuff- not sure what that means but that's all they could talk about while driving it.

And on a totally random tangent... I'm quite jealous of my Pug pals. Their humans get to take them to work. Here's a fun photo i had to post from their site:

What Happened To The Floor? It's numbing My Feet!

My family and I went on a road trip ... but must have driven to a new planet, because what I saw was out of this world. All the grass was gone, and all that was left was this wet, slushy, cold, white STUFF they call... "Snow".
